4th graders at East Elementary learned about the events that happened on 9/11 in various classes today. In art class, they each worked on a section of a 9/11 remembrance mural. Each 4th grader had a different part of the mural and when they all put them together, this is how it looked! #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #9/11 #neverforget

This week at Sheldon Community Schools! Reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday. This week's lunch menu was created by one of our High School Mass Media students, Heather Honkomp. Students learned more about creating graphic images this week and one project was to create a new lunch menu image to post weekly. Great job Heather! #LeadOn #Orabs #sheldonorabs #thisweekatsheldon #weeklyupdate

First grade students received their whisper phones this week and they were so excited! Whisper phones can improve phonemic awareness, increase comprehension of what is being read, help students read at an appropriate voice volume, build confident readers, and make reading fun! #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #reading #1stgrade

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, especially for our students. If your student doesn't have time to each breakfast at home, they can eat breakfast at school. Eating breakfast can benefit students in many ways throughout the school day. They are able to concentrate better, are more alert, and can have better test scores. Thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff that serves breakfast daily from 7:45-8:20 am at each of our buildings for our students. #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #breakfast #schoolbreakfast
