Congratulations to Mr. St. Clair was voted to receive the Karl King Distinguished Service Award-Active (recognizing individuals for their outstanding contributions and service to the Iowa Bandmasters Association) at the Northwest Iowa Bandmasters Association annual Fall Meeting!

East teachers and associates were recognized as one Iowa's highest improving districts in early literacy by the Iowa Department of Ed. In honor of this recognition all staff were awarded free McCafe drinks by McDonald's and provided a catered lunch from Langer's. WAY TO GO EAST!

Excited to welcome our new 5th graders during orientation later today!
The first day of school (August 12) will be a full day; there will not be a one hour early dismissal on August 12.
Open House at the MS and East will be held from 12:00 - 6:00 on August 10. We've extended this time in hopes of spreading people out a bit more. Please consider coming during the early hours (12:00 - 3:00), if it is possible for your schedules. See you there!
