Sheldon Community Schools are beginning the process of registering students who plan to attend kindergarten or transitional kindergarten at East Elementary in the fall of 2024. In order to qualify, students must turn five on or before September 15, 2024. If your child attends a Preschool in Sheldon, registration packets will be sent home. If your child does not attend a Preschool in Sheldon, stop in the East Elementary office to pick up a registration packet. Please register at your earliest convenience, so we can have adequate time to provide for our district’s needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the East Elementary Office at 712-324-4337. #LeadOn #Orabs #sheldonorabs #sheldoniowa #kindergarten

Reading buddies at East Elementary are pairs of students that are grouped together from different grade levels and they meet once a week to read with each other. This helps our students get to know other students outside of their grade level, while also getting to practice reading aloud to someone else! *Image created by Sheldon High School Mass Media Class Student, Aniyah Williams* #LeadOn #Orabs #sheldonorabs #learning #reading #readingbuddies #sheldonreadingtogether #read
