8th graders participated in the NCC Career Day! They were able to visit vendor booths to explore career opportunities .

6th grade students are preparing for their Night of the Notables event on April 12 by taste-testing Arnold Palmer’s speciality drink!

Congrats to our State Science Fair participants! Dirk and Braeden - 1st place in 8th grade chemistry, Broadcom Masters Award, POSH Award. Sophie and Olivia - 3rd place in 8th grade chemistry. Rachel - Discovery in Science Award & POSH Award. These students worked really hard in creating some awesome experiments and presentations. Nice work, Orabs!

7th and 8th graders took the “Twosday” challenge today in math!  Can you use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using only 4 two’s to get the numbers 0-12???

Sheldon Schools will be starting 2 hours late tomorrow (2/22/22). No AM Preschool.

5th grade mathematicians are using their fraction knowledge to “fix broken hearts”

6th grade working on text structure skills by writing sequential paragraphs as directions for constructing Lego structures. Started working independently, then checked in with a partner!

Indoor recess shenanigans! Ready for some warmer weather at SMS!

The 8th grade class participated in a Poetry Break Out session! Some made it, and some did not! But for all, learning and fun was had!
