Reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place next week Monday and Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Monday and Tuesday will also be 1 hour early out days due to conferences.
Notes have been sent home with students at East Elementary and Sheldon Middle School on each individual's scheduled time for conferences. The high school students can come at any time during these two days.

We're thrilled to announce that the awaited Sheldon High School remodel project is moving forward!
The project will officially go out to bid this spring, marking a significant step towards the transformation of our school. Construction is slated to kick off late summer, bringing us closer to a modernized and enhanced learning environment for our students and faculty.
Attached are the preliminary exterior designs, offering a glimpse into the exciting changes ahead. Keep in mind that plans are subject to change as we work towards creating the best possible spaces for our school community.

On Saturday, March 2nd, 26 Sheldon Golden Corn FFA Members and FFA Advisor Jacob Fox travelled to MOC-Floyd Valley High School to compete in District FFA Contests.
The Poultry Evaluation team consisting of Anthony Courtney, Kalli Horner, Eva Krogman and Hailey Whittaker received a Gold Rating and placed 1st overall. Anthony Courtney tied for individual runner-up and Kalli Horner was the event champion. The Poultry Team will be competing at the State Level in April.
The Agriculture Mechanics team consisting of Ethan deBoer, Caleb Huff, and Koby Peelen placed 6th overall with Caleb Huff receiving a gold rating.
Douglas Nilles competed in Extemporaneous Speaking and received a Gold Rating. He was also named Alternate to State.
Addison Beckman and Alison Wolf prepared a Chapter Scrapbook and received a Gold Rating.
Paige Boon received a Silver Rating in Chapter Website.
The Sheldon's Conduct of Meetings Team consisting of Bruce Glassmaker, Tamsyn Matus, Jada Kamstra, Alexis Dykstra, Brielle Mouw, Addisson Dobbins, Devin Van Regenmorter, and Caidan Jager received a silver rating.
Brayden Pomerenke and Zach Brinkman took the Farm Business Management quiz. Brayden received a Silver Rating. Zach Received a Gold and placed 4th overall.
Members receiving a Gold Rating in the Chapter Quiz were Douglas Nilles, Dana Konz, Leo Guadarrama and Jada Kamstra.
Members receiving a Gold Rating in the Greenhand Quiz were Jordan Verburg, Tamsyn Matus and Alexis Dykstra.
Seniors Zach Brinkman, Tamson Budden, Anthony Courtney, Kaedee Honkomp, Dana Konz, and Madison Nunes all received Academic Achievement awards.
