Our Sheldon High School FCA would like to invite you to take part in Operation Christmas Child.
This is a national ministry that impacts kids all over the world during the season of Christmas. For the third year, our Fellowship of Christian Athletes is sponsoring Operation Christmas Child.
Our FCA huddle has purchased boxes to be filled with Christmas gifts for Children all over the world. Last year we packaged 122 boxes! We would love to surpass the amount from last year.
If you and/or your family would like to take part in filling a box or boxes, please let us know, by contacting Mrs. Keepers at the high school (tammy.keepers@sheldonschools.com) and we will get you the number of boxes you are looking for.
National Collection week is November 13th, so all boxes must be back to our FCA huddle by then so we can get them to a national collection site.
It is suggested $10 donation per box to help with shipping costs.

At the beginning of the year, 4th graders read the book, "The Richest Man in Town" by V.J. Smith in writing class.
After finishing the book, students wrote letters to V.J. Smith expressing gratitude for his story and asked him questions about the book.
This week all 4th graders received a personalized letter handwritten by V.J. Smith himself answering their questions!
Thank you V.J. so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to write to our students!
