Today marked an incredible start to the new school year as we welcomed back our entire district staff for the first day of professional development. The day started with getting back together with the staff catching up with each other and a breakfast prepared by our amazing lunchroom staff. Our special guest speaker, V.J Smith, graced us with his humor and inspirational words, emphasizing the incredible impact of doing the little things that can truly make a difference in the lives of our students and those around us. Staff then enjoyed a great lunch from Pizza Ranch before meeting with their teams to get ready for the 2023-2024 school year. Teachers from the Sheldon Community School District kicked off their back to school preparation with the Improving Your Practice Literacy Conference today.
