Fishing in Math!
8th graders in Mrs. Woelber's math class worked on proportions by determining how many fish were in their lake by tagging fish and then recapturing them.
They set up proportions for 3 different trials to determine their totals and then talked about why their numbers weren't always the same and what might distort their data.
