2nd graders reviewed their reading vocabulary words with a Quizlet Live game this week. They had to synergize and work together to be the first team to correctly match their vocabulary words with the definitions. It's so fun to see our students get excited and competitive in their review games! #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #elementarystudents #elementary

1B students learned about fractions with chocolate chip cookies. Students kept one cookie whole, cut a cookie in half, and cut another cookie in fourths. Students were then given a fraction and had to hold up the cookie pieces that represented that fraction. Who knew math could be so delicious?! #LeadOn #math #cookiemath #fractions #sheldonorabs #sheldon #orabs

Mat Ball is a fan favorite for High School PE! Mat ball is similar to kickball, but instead of bases students have to jump onto large padded mats as they travel from base to base. #LeadOn #PE #sheldonorabs #orabs #fitness

Middle School students in computer science class are working on designing an app of their choice. Students had to come up with an app idea, reasons why the app would be useful, as well as what features the app would have. Students then will be sharing their app idea in a presentation for the rest of the class to learn more about it. #LeadOn #orabs #computerscience #apps #sheldonorabs #learning

TK students at East Elementary have been talking about shadows as part of their weather unit. They read the book, Shadows by Sharon Coan and learned what makes a shadow. They also checked where their shadows were 4 times throughout the day and recorded where the sun was and what their shadow looked like. This week the students also headed outside to create shadow animals. TK has been loving the sunshine that creates shadows. #LeadOn #TK #orabs #sheldonorabs #weather #science #elementary #sheldoneastelementary

The 6th graders did an amazing job with their Night of the Notables presentations! 6th graders researched a famous person from the past and presented the information to those that attended the Night of the Notables. People could stop by a notable person, played by the 6th grader, where they would then share information about their life. Thanks to the 6th graders and teachers for putting on such a great event. #LeadOn #orabs #sheldonorabs #history #projects #learning #middleschool
