Matt Jurgens, with Osceola County Conservation, came to give the students some real experience with things that are happening in the book. The 7th graders just finished reading some articles about internet influencers in class and were lucky enough to have one come and speak to them yesterday. Katie Koenecke, known for her life coaching and influencer work with Scooters, talked about her job as an influencer and what it takes to be in the business. Prior to the Color Run, students raised money in the forms of sponsorship for their participation in the Color Run, equaling over $40,000.
